Iceland Review has published a special advertising supplement on the state of the Icelandic economy. Much has been written about the Icelandic economy in recent months. Iceland Review decided to offer the Icelandic banks, and other financial institutions on the frontlines of the Icelandic economy, the chance to give the picture as they see it. The 24-page supplement will also be published in the next edition of Iceland Review, which should reach subscribers in the first half of May.

The advertising supplement starts with an interview on the state of the economy with the Minister of Finance, Árni Mathiesen. Then the banks are presented one by one, in a mixture of interviews, diagrams and easy to follow facts about their recent development. The banks are Landsbanki, Kaupthing Bank, Straumur-Burdarás and Glitnir. The supplement ends with articles from the Central Bank on Balancing Stabilty and Growth, and finally the Stock Market discusses the Icelandic growth market.

You can read the articles in the supplement at our download page.
