It seems to me that Icelandic tourism has reached a crunch point. Either you go on packing in maximum numbers, going for short term profit and destroying the very thing that attracts visitors in the first place, or you ration tourist numbers and offer a genuine experience of untouched Nature.

I should like to see the second, but expect to see the first.
