Iceland with Highest Ratio of Net Users in Europe
Iceland has the highest ratio of households with access to the internet and the highest number of internet users in Europe, according to Statistics Iceland.

Ninety percent of Icelanders use online banking, similar to in Norway and Finland, while 67 percent of internet users in Iceland use social networking sites, compared to 52 percent in the EU.
Around 47 percent of net users between the ages of 16 and 74 connect to the internet via laptops, PDAs and tablets, compared to the EU average of 33 percent, visir.is reports.
A total of 32 European countries carry out annual research on the use of information technology of individuals and companies.
