Reykjavík Fashion Festival announced last week some of the foreign guests that will attend the festival, running from March 14 to 16 this year. RFF 2013’s guest of honor will be fashion and celebrity photographer Roxanne Lowit.
Lowit’s work has been published in magazines such as Vogue, Vanity Fair and Tatler and exhibited in many prominent museums and galleries, including New York’s Metropolitan Museum of Art and Whitney Museum of American Art and London’s Albert Museum.
During her career of more than 40 years, Lowit has photographed some of the world’s most influential artists, designers and movie stars. Among her models are Andy Warhol, Salvador Dali, Yves Saint-Laurent, Johnny Depp, George Clooney and Scarlett Johansson.
