Now 2012 is coming to an end and a new beginning is about to start, it makes you wonder whether we as a human beings what are we ‘thankful/grateful’ for? but I am sure we all are whether we say it or not, it doesn’t matter how small or how big the deed or deeds are but we all are or simply we forgot to say.
Now having said this, I do not want to end 2012 without saying how ‘thankful/grateful’ for whatever circumstances came my way and start 2013 appreciating for what I have and cherish in good memory and be less critical, after all being critical comes easy but understanding takes more effort and time. Look what I have in front of me rather than looking for something that may or not be there and extend kindness in all sorts way as the saying goes: “Show kindness in other people’s trouble and courage in your own.”
After that school shooting in Newtown, how President Obama was visibly shaken and teary echoed to go home and hug their kids and tell them how fortunate/grateful and thankful and say “I love you” and it does send a very sincere feeling(s) to appreciate what we have and cherish in memory. To this I end my letter “Let the good thoughts come to us from all sides always” and cherish in good memory after all that’s what memories are made from stuff like that.
I am glad and thankful/grateful I got a chance to visit Iceland in 2010 and had recommended Iceland for few friends who visited in 2011 and 2012 and few more visiting in 2013 and I am hoping to make a yet another trip soon.
Cheers to all and keep smiling.
