Five Children Born at 12:12 in Reykjavík

Five children were born at Landspítali National University Hospital at 12:12 today, December 12, 2012.

One of the midwives on duty told dv.is earlier in the day that children are constantly being born around the world so it would not be unusual if some were to be born at 12:12 but that she was simply doing her job.

According to Statistics Iceland, in 2011 there were 4,492 births in Iceland.
