A charity concert which was to take place on Saturday to raise money for formers whose sheep fell victim to the disastrous blizzard that struck North Iceland in mid-September has been postponed due to bad weather.
The concert, to be held at Skjólbrekka by Lake Mývatn, is organized by tenor Kristján Jóhannsson. Other notable Icelandic musicians were set to join him, ruv.is reports.
Around 3,000 sheep are thought to have died in North Iceland as a result of the blizzard. Damage and loss caused by the storm is estimated to cost several hundreds of millions of ISK.
