Biggi Hilmars will hold an album release concert on Thursday in celebration of the release of his solo album All We Can Be. Biggi enjoyed success with power rockers Ampop and is now establishing himself as a solo artist alongside his film, TV and theater work.
Biggi’s music was featured in Ridley Scott’s Life in Day (2011) movie trailer, Motorola’s Xoom Android Tablet US Super Bowl ad spot last year and on television series including Army Wives.
His work is described on his website as “blending together elements of Muse, Sigur Ros, Queen, Oasis, Mercury Rev, ELO, and The Beatles into a truly unique sound.”
Biggi will hold a release concert at the old downtown church, Fríkirkjan, on October 4 at 8:30 pm and will play Iceland Airwaves, which kicks off later this month.
